There are a lot of canals in Ft.Lauderdale filled to the brim with water. You don’t get any sense of alarm that water is encroaching on the rest of the city, especially seeing all the greenery and lush tropical trees. But sure enough if you look close enough after a rain or high tide, the telltale signs of sea level rising are there. It seems the prevailing thought is Floridians will deal with it as they have with past hurricanes and floods.
