Preserving the Navajo Voices of Wisdom
“The elders of Navajo Nation, who are crucial to preserving the tribe’s language and culture, are particularly high-risk at this time.”
– Michelle Tom, MD, Family Medicine
Winslow Indian Health Care Center, Winslow, AZ

In a culture that puts so much emphasis on the reverence of elders and the oral history they are meant to pass down, we have been honored to film a 99 year-old Navajo medicine man to preserve his voice, language, and teachings for current and future generations. This is a collaborative project with Navajo elders, translators, and production team.
